The Haim Zippori Education Campus, Jerusalem, 1993 – First prize

Located at the edge of the JerusalemForest as a study and research center and meeting place for those involved in community education and social management, the campus is designed to blend in with the forest and become an integral part of the scenery. Like a Mediterranean village it consists of low stone buildings, some of which have copper roofs among the trees – others will have flat roofs with grass and plants. A network of interconnecting courtyards and arcades and paths will fan out from the square at the campus center

and create a classic university atmosphere for learning and study.
