2011 | The ‘CF Hansen Medal’, by the Royal Danish Academy, for ‘life time Artistic Achievement’ (2011) – the highest honour that can be awarded to a Danish architect.

2008 | Honorary Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects, awarded by the Prime Minster of Sri Lanka.

2007 | ‘Best public building in Tel Aviv’ awarded for the Daniel Amichai Rowing Center, by the ‘Israel Society of Designers’.

2005 | ‘The Rokah Prize’, awarded for outstanding architecture of a public building – for the Daniel Amichai Rowing Center, by the Mayor of Tel Aviv.

1994 | ‘Yakir Israel’ (Honoured by Israel) awarded to’Beit Gabriel’ on the Sea of Gallillee, by the President of Israel.

1994 | The ‘Rechter Prize’ for’Bet Gabriel’, for best work of architecture in Israel, by the Israel Architects Association.

1993 | ‘The Castle Arcades’ in Hillerod, Denmark, (a 70.000 m2 commercial centre), nominated ‘TheBest European Commercial Center, 1993″ by ‘ICSC – the International Council of Shopping Centers’.

1987 | ‘Nykredit’s Architecture Prize’ for lifetime work (then the largest prize in Denmark), shared with the Danish architects Jorn Utzon and Henning Larsen.

1987 | The ‘Eckersberg Medal’ awarded by the Royal Danish Academy for artistic achievement.

1987 | The ‘Dreyer Foundation’ Architecture Prize (1987), Denmark.

1983 | The “Lifshitz Prize”, for beautifying Jerusalem. Awarded by Teddy Kollek, mayor of Jerusalem.
